About the Spanish club

La Tarara does not only teach grammar, but also wishes to introduce the vibrant culture of the Spanish-speaking world to its club members and offer an enjoyable way to spend leisure time in the company of friends.

To achieve this, we regularly host:

cultural evenings with a focus on specific topics: literature, history, society, media, art, etc.;
wine and tapas evenings, where you can drop by for some gastronomic delights combined with a bit of Spanish practice;
language immersion sessions, where you can teach your native language to a foreigner and practice your Spanish with native Spanish speakers – a perfect chance to become accustomed to new accents and dialects;

a language café with games and other fun activities focused on language practice and communication with other students at a different level of language proficiency;
cooking classes taught in Spanish, where you can learn how to prepare an authentic pan;
poetry evenings, where you can learn about Spanish and Latin American poets and their works;
film evenings, where we watch films together (free entry!) and then discuss their cultural background.
